Tokumaru expanded across the Gulf of Finland to Helsinki. Initially, the small premises, located in the farthest corner of the ground-floor food court, presented many limitations.

We discovered that the character of the space lay in its direct access from the outside, allowing us to shape it as a food stall with a small, street-facing seating niche. Our aim was to reflect the essence of Tokumaru’s cuisine within the constraints of limited design possibilities — clear, functional, yet light.
