Treski open-air stage in Setomaa

In the village of Treski in Setomaa lies Silla farm, which has been hosting concerts and events since 2015. The designed outdoor stage is positioned to open up to both the existing farmyard and the field, allowing for larger public events to be held.

An open and robust wooden framework supports the stage roof and shapes the visual identity of the place. A gabled volume is cut into the framework as a negative space, reminiscent of the interior of the Treski Küün (Treski Barn) – a symbol of the already established concert venue.

The steel structure used for the stage roof allows for hanging heavier stage equipment and cantilevers the edge of the roof, offering performers protection from the rain.
