The summer house is located on the edge of a natural clearing, on a hilly plot near the beach. The simply-formed building consists of a main house and a separate additional volume where a guest can sleep, with an outdoor space between them that serves as both an entrance and an active outdoor room in the summer.
In the main house, there are closed rooms (bedroom, bathroom) on one side and open spaces on the other. The bedrooms have their own inner roof that supports the main roof.
The pattern of the timber cladding runs through the entire building volume, both outside and inside. The exterior of the building is darker, while the interior uses black alder with a light pinkish, warm undertone.
