© Kaido HaagenThe building is defined by solemnity, sensuality, and semi-openness. Its fabric-like façade delicately conceals and reveals the fragile interior. A dynamic roofline lends the structure a sense of flow. Part of the ground floor is open to the public, becoming an extension of the street. On the southwest side, the concert hall connects to a pedestrian square via a staircase, creating an intimate space beside the busy street.
The stairs lead to a gallery on the second floor, where a visual dialogue unfolds with the river and the bridge. The building forms a compact whole. The shifting rhythm of the façade reflects its inner structure – more open towards the square, more private towards the music school.
