An IT company wanted to move from its large (800 m2) suburban office back to the city center to be accessible to clients and partners. The company's image as a creative agency also needed a refresh, as did the work environment, which was to encourage teamwork.
The primary task was to fit 35 workstations into a 430 m2 space, which led us to choose an open-plan office layout. The office space is divided into two zones by 'green houses' (meeting rooms): a client zone and a private zone. In the design, we also emphasized small details to create coziness and site-specificity. We believe that handcrafted objects and raw materials in the design foster creative work – a 'work in progress'.
