The underdeveloped quarter is located at the outskirt of Tallinn near Tallinn University of Technology between residential buildings. The quarter has a unique hilly landscape resulted from limestone excavation. The overgrown woods have provided the neighbours a place to stroll.

Our aim formed around the wish to retain the accessibility to all at the same time to develop to the park with different activities. The pedestrian passages were placed carefully according to the existing pattern of use of the area. The recreational activities were also integrated with the passages.

The new street was placed to the perimeter of the quarter to maximize the central greenery at the same time to create accessible street for the surrounding neighbours. The planned kindergarten was located within the greenery, enjoying a unique playground in slope.

The most of residential buildings were articulated according to low and dense housing principle. We made some exceptions to the edges of the quarter to make smooth transition to the existing buildings.
